Project Noordhoeked employs four young men from MasiP and RedHill communities: Edgar, William, David and Jacob.
Project Noordhoeked is a non-profit community initiative, which relies on donations from the Noordhoek community to pay the team’s wages for a 3 day week.
The key objective of the project is to create jobs, keep our beautiful beach and main roadsides and rivers clean.
On two days of the week, the team focuses on alien vegetation clearing within Noordhoek – (port Jackson mainly).
The project has built two memorial Ecobrick benches (at the beach and at the farm village) and it manages the ocean-plastic eating wire whale Kakapo at the beach.
