Painted in memory of Kevin Connolly, Field Reservist BSAP, killed in action December 1976.
Also killed in the attack in the Mucheni area of Binga district, J.Ndhlovu, K.Nyoni, NSPO’s T.Threadingham and T.Walker.
May they rest in peace.

This painting commemorates the courage of those who gave their lives and youth in this war which ended over 40 years ago.

There are many, myself amongst them, who are indebted to the sacrifices that kept us and our families safe through those hard years, especially those of us from farming families in areas where the war threatened.

The painting was done to acknowledge the debt owed to those who gave so much in the events of another time.
